A
little about me…
I
am a creative soul who delights in variety - drawing, painting,
mixed media art, collage, as well as knitting, crocheting and
sewing. I have also devoted ten years to the intensive study
of figurative sculpture.
Art
has always been woven into my life. From designing bulletin
boards in grade school to cartooning on my own kids lunchbags,
I’ve always had an irrepressible urge to create. I ‘m
a seeker who loves to learn, and have pursued training at a
classical atelier, in workshops and on-line courses.
My professional life began in 1979 when I co-founded
Mara-Mi Inc., a manufacturer of social stationery and gift products.
At Mara-Mi, I oversaw the Product Development, Sales and Marketing
Departments for 26 years until the company was sold.
I
am now happily and busily retired. I cherish visits with my
family and I relish time to play with all my toys: paint, charcoal,
brushes, scissors, papers, glue, yarn and fabric. Creativity
is a gift that never stops giving.
I
